This item is a decorative and functional serving tray on a riser. It stands 4 inches tall. The top is wood, and the riser is a thin metal ( likely aluminium) that at one point was the holder for a silver plated srving dish. It has been granted a new life a support for this whimsical tray. The bottom of the tree has cotton, stamped with two flowers, overlooking a couple of sheets of music that have been "laid' near them. The entire image is treated with food safe sealer, including the cloth. The tray is edged with a thin leather ribbon, and the riser has been painted and aged with antiquing wax. This tray is the second of two (more to come) and actually came from a "happy accident" where the first tray did not fit on the riser. The addition of the tiny music sheets happened when one fell on the tray as I was finishing it up. I liked it so, I put it on permanently.
